Women are growing older, there is no doubt about that! And for the first time in history, there are going to be millions of us. For the most part, we are tired of hearing that we are over the hill, that we are older than dirt, or that we grow old, dry up and blow away.

Over the years, I've heard many questions about aging. What happens to my hair, my body, my mind? What about hormones? What about...? Women have been asking for a book about their aging process. What I realized is that they did not want another medical or biological text on aging. They wanted to know about the experience of aging. And who better to write about women's aging than the true experts...women.

OlderWiserWomen: Our Journey is a book written by women, for women. It's about women telling their stories, and helping to redefine aging into the positive experience it is. It's about stopping the negative stereotypes, and embracing the miracles that happen. It's about learning, sharing, and rejoicing. OlderWiserWomen™ was born with the mission and purpose to help women celebrate the transition, the growth, and the wisdom that occurs for us all as we age.

This is an open invitation for women to tell their stories.

• What's been hard? What's been easy?
• What's been humorous?
• What would you do differently?
• Do you have advice for the rest of us?
• Do you have a story about: professions, husbands, partners, children, friends, faith, caring for parents, blessings and miracles, our bodies, menopause, sexuality, divorce, overcoming challenges, just to name only a few.

Do you have a story but feel you can't write? Be assured that all stories will be edited for clarity. Still can't write? I'd be honored to listen to your story and even interview while it's being recorded. And, you have the choice of having your story published with full credit to you, or writing anonymously.
