Computers Again….
Yep…it’s happened again! The OlderWiserWomen computers made a funny little clicking sound…and then stopped. Very frustrating.
Even more frustrating is that we have been backing up our data daily…just so we are protected. Except…our that while our software and external drive were happily churning away…they were doing so in vain. The last back up recorded was in January.
Consequently, we’ve lost several months worth of writing, emails, newsletters, etc. That includes your contact info and any recent emails. If you have contacted us, and have not yet heard from us…please contact us again.
Thanks for your patience.

Protect Yourself - Email Viruses
I don’t know about you, but I’ve been getting a plethora of email the past week full of viruses. It seems to be hitting the internet more so than usual from what I hear from the lists I am on.
If you are not up to date with whatever protection software you are using, you might want to do so.
If you are not using virus protection…what are you waiting for? You should NOT be online without some sort of protection.
- AVG has a good free program - http://www.grisoft.com/doc/1
- Norton is always good (it’s what I use and nothing has gotten through) - http://www.symantec.com/index.htm
Virus software protects yourself and others. Be safe online!
Thanks!
