Retirement? Yes, No, Maybe?

According to many polls, more and more Americans are foregoing retirement…at least retirement in the way that perhaps our parents retired.  I plan to be among those that do not “retire”…I plan to explore other interests. Why? Because the more we are doing, the more we are challenging and stimulating our minds…the better we do. An idle brain and body does not last long.

Retirement - have it your way

When you think of retirement, what comes to mind?

For many, it’s finding a place or community to retire in with other like-minded individuals. Well, there are all sorts of communities springing up all over the place. Are you a golf fanatic? Perhaps you’d like to retire in a religion-center community? Maybe you really want to be with other artists, women, gays & lesbians or even travelers.  In other words…you can retire you way.  Read from the NY Times –> Birds of a Feather
